One of the most common trucks on the North American continent, the Freightliner FLD main tractor, has an engine compartment that is typical for heavy vehicles manufactured in the USA. Although the car is considered an obsolete model, it is still very popular due to its comfort, reliability and safety. Players of the ETS 2 simulator could already appreciate the virtual version of a truck with the author's modification of the Freightliner FLD 120 truck.

The Freightliner FLD truck mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2 has a realistic appearance, the authors implemented a solid corporate interior with high-quality animation and the ability to view the cab from the driver's berth. A virtual trucker is available to install a pair of cab types, low or high, fourteen varieties of engines of various power with their own soundtrack and six gearboxes at 6, 10, 13 and 18 speeds. Comprehensive tuning, which includes more than fifty slots for installing and replacing spare parts, deserves special attention.
